We are currently recruiting for a Junior POD Buyer at our Malelane branch, ideal for candidates who are energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about cars and delivering outstanding customer service.
Role Overview
The Junior POD Buyer plays a vital role in the foundation of the WeBuyCars business model. This role involves performing precise vehicle inspections and evaluations, ensuring the purchase of quality vehicles at market-competitive prices. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and the drive to exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve budgeted purchase volume and gross margin targets

Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and appraisals on-site

Ensure quality control during all vehicle assessments

Negotiate and purchase vehicles at the most competitive price points

Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service

Represent the WeBuyCars brand with integrity and enthusiasm
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Minimum of 4 years of work experience (preferably in customer service, sales, or administration)

Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close deals

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

Technically inclined with solid administrative and computer skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Further Requirements

Must preferably reside in Malelane or surrounding areas

Ideal age between 23 and 34 years
-
Valid South African driver’s license

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
