Role Overview: Senior AI Automation Specialist

The Senior AI Automation Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for designing, building, and optimizing AI-driven automation solutions using no-code/low-code platforms and backend integrations. This role is essential for improving operational efficiency and unlocking new business capabilities for Vortala and Pronto Pilates.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into scalable, maintainable automation workflows, leveraging AI tools and prompt engineering expertise to drive measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize automation workflows using platforms like n8n, integrating APIs and third-party systems
Write or adapt scripts (JavaScript, Python) for complex logic and data transformation
Develop and refine AI prompts to ensure reliable, high-quality outputs
Integrate AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity seamlessly into automation processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver solutions aligned with business goals
Stay current on AI and automation advancements, bringing innovative ideas to the team
Serve as a subject-matter expert and mentor within the AI Automation team

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience with automation platforms, especially n8n, and backend system integrations
Strong knowledge of AI tools and their integration into workflows
Advanced prompt engineering skills with demonstrable experience optimizing AI outputs
Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript and Python for custom automation needs
Ability to break down complex business problems into efficient, scalable solutions
Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
Proactive learner, continuously updating skills with emerging AI and automation technologies
Ability to work primarily during U.S. business hours (8am – 5pm EDT, Monday to Friday)
