LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The BUCO Empangeni Learnership Programme offers a 12-month structured learning experience that combines practical workplace training with theoretical knowledge. Participants will gain exposure to day-to-day retail operations, customer service, stock control, and sales procedures within a BUCO store while receiving a W&R SETA-accredited qualification upon successful completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the learnership, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in workplace-based learning across various departments

  • Supporting store operations including merchandising, cashiering, and stocktaking

  • Delivering excellent customer service and engaging with clients professionally

  • Upholding and demonstrating the company’s values and culture in all interactions

  • Attending formal learning sessions as prescribed by the programme

  • Completing assessments and practical assignments as part of the learnership curriculum

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen

  • Be 35 years old or younger

  • Have a valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate

  • Have limited or no previous work experience

  • Not have participated in any previous W&R SETA learnership

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

  • Basic computer literacy (especially in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
