LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The BUCO Empangeni Learnership Programme offers a 12-month structured learning experience that combines practical workplace training with theoretical knowledge. This opportunity is ideal for young, enthusiastic individuals who are looking to gain professional experience in retail and build a career in one of South Africa’s fastest-growing sectors.
Participants will gain exposure to day-to-day retail operations, customer service, stock control, and sales procedures within a BUCO store while receiving a W&R SETA-accredited qualification upon successful completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the learnership, your responsibilities will include:

Participating in workplace-based learning across various departments

Supporting store operations including merchandising, cashiering, and stocktaking
-
Delivering excellent customer service and engaging with clients professionally
-
Upholding and demonstrating the company’s values and culture in all interactions

Attending formal learning sessions as prescribed by the programme

Completing assessments and practical assignments as part of the learnership curriculum

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

Have a valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate

Have limited or no previous work experience

Not have participated in any previous W&R SETA learnership
