Role Overview

The Hybrid Sales Consultant – South will be responsible for selling electronic security systems and monitoring solutions to new clients in the Cape Town region. This is a client-facing, target-driven role that requires initiative, resilience, and strong sales acumen. You will play a key part in growing Fidelity ADT’s market presence by sourcing leads, closing deals, and building strong relationships with stakeholders such as real estate agents, builders, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source new clients and close deals for armed monitoring and armed response services

  • Sell and upsell new alarm system installations, CCTV systems, electric fencing, and upgrades to existing systems

  • Follow up on leads generated internally through telesales or other channels

  • Build strong working relationships with estate agents, architects, construction firms, and commercial decision-makers

  • Present solutions tailored to client needs, backed by solid product knowledge

  • Ensure all administrative and reporting duties related to sales are accurately completed

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to track progress and achievements

  • Meet and exceed defined monthly sales and client acquisition targets

  • Ensure full compliance with company processes and customer service standards

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent – Required

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in capital goods or high-value solutions (non-FMCG)

  • Familiarity with security technologies such as IDS or DSC alarm systems – Advantageous

  • Valid PSIRA Grade C certification – Required

  • Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle – Compulsory

  • Proficiency with MS Office, internet, and email – Essential

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and drive for results

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • High-level organizational and planning abilities

  • Technically inclined, especially with electronic security systems

  • Assertive, well-groomed, and able to maintain a professional demeanor

  • Comfortable engaging with both B2C and B2B audiences

  • Persistent in closing deals and skilled in follow-up techniques
