Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to define reporting requirements, automate data flows, and design scalable analytical tools. You will translate business needs into actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making at all levels of the organization. This role combines data engineering, dashboard development, and analytical problem-solving with stakeholder engagement and process enhancement.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with SQL, Power BI, and Excel-based reporting tools and can clearly communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from warehouse, operations, and logistics teams

• Build interactive dashboards and data models using Power BI, including custom DAX measures and Power Query

• Extract and analyse datasets using SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost savings

• Collaborate with IT to develop data pipelines and integrate systems across ERP, WMS, and CRM platforms

• Present insights in clear, concise formats for business users and executive management

• Review and enhance existing business processes through automation, eliminating redundant workflows

• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting platforms

• Support the adoption of Microsoft Fabric or other cloud-based data integration tools

• Provide training and support to business users to encourage self-service analytics adoption

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles

• Advanced proficiency in SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)

• High-level expertise in Power BI, including use of DAX, Power Query, and visual storytelling

• Strong skills in Excel, including Power Query, PivotTables, and VBA scripting

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or equivalent tools is beneficial

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar certification is advantageous

• Proven ability to work across departments and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels
