Role Overview

The Software Developer III position is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Full Stack Developer to play a key role in designing and building high-impact internal applications. You will use technologies such as SQL, .NET, Angular, and C# to architect scalable, efficient, and integrated business solutions. As a senior member of a small, agile team, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, lead innovation projects, and influence the technology roadmap across the enterprise.

This role requires an individual with excellent problem-solving capabilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating intelligent software solutions that streamline operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Software Solutions Development

• Design, build, and implement full stack software applications for internal use

• Conduct integration development and system impact analysis

• Translate business specifications into efficient technical models

• Write, test, and deploy code using industry standards and secure practices

• Research and apply new tools and development methods for continuous improvement

• Manage documentation through approved repositories and ensure version control

• Ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards

Task Assignment and Coordination

• Work with clients and project managers throughout the SDLC: specification, coding, QA, implementation

• Ensure that all developments meet internal coding standards and customer expectations

• Coordinate change, incident, and release management processes

• Produce user manuals, training materials, and maintain coding documentation

• Align development tasks with project timelines and team objectives

Client Engagement and Technical Support

• Provide tiered support for issues, bugs, and enhancements

• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Manage release cycles and system updates

• Monitor SLA compliance and offer solutions to mitigate downtime or risk

• Serve as a technical advisor during client implementations and system upgrades

Minimum Requirements

• 4–5 years’ experience in application development and system integration

• Proven experience in full stack development across various platforms

• Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7) in IT, Software Development, or Computer Science

• Certifications in C#, Java, SQL Server, or MySQL preferred

Technical Skills

• Languages & Frameworks: .NET, C#, AngularJS, Angular 5, React, NodeJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS

• Databases: MSSQL, MySQL

• Tools & Practices: RESTful services, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), WHMCS, Bootstrap

• Project Methodologies: Agile, SCRUM

• Strong understanding of version control, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
