Role Overview

Sasol is currently seeking a Graduate Trainee II for its Learning Assurance and Vendor Management function within the Group Rewards & Human Capital Solutions division. This is a fixed-term contract based in Sandton, designed to provide early-career professionals with real-world exposure to key business processes related to B-BBEE compliance, vendor management, and learning assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor B-BBEE compliance, specifically in relation to the Skills Development element

  • Conduct quarterly audits and assessments of B-BBEE scorecards

  • Audit and report on Skills Development spending and compliance metrics

  • Support contract and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring SLA adherence

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders through monthly engagements to align training and development initiatives

  • Assist with the administration of non-technical learnership programs

  • Coordinate learner registration with different SETAs and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Track and evaluate service provider performance through structured monthly meetings

  • Compile and deliver performance reports on third-party providers

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve learning operations

  • Foster an inclusive work environment while promoting accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, or a relevant field is required

  • An Honours degree will be advantageous

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in B-BBEE Skills Development, Vendor Management, Contract Management, or Supply Chain Management is essential
