📌 Role Overview
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory control, team management, sales coordination, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a logistics professional or store supervisor with a solid understanding of stock systems, POS operations, and team leadership. The successful candidate will ensure that the warehouse is running efficiently and profitably, while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop warehouse personnel through coaching, training, and performance evaluations

Monitor and manage warehouse budgets, cost controls, and financial targets

Oversee warehouse sales and service delivery, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction

Implement and monitor effective stock control procedures, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
-
Conduct stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy
-
Maintain health and safety compliance in line with company policy

Drive operational efficiencies by ensuring smooth and accurate processing of stock through the warehouse

Manage and ensure accuracy of POS systems and back-end admin platforms such as SAP

Complete general administrative duties, including reporting and compliance documentation
📚 Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/store environment
-
At least 1 year in a supervisory or junior management role is an advantage
🛠️ Technical Skills and Competencies

Excellent knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product offerings

Strong proficiency in MS Office, warehouse management systems, and SAP
-
Working knowledge of POS systems and stock control processes

Valid Code 08 driver’s license

Ability to read and analyze warehouse data and financial metrics
