We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Driver (Code 10) to join our Brackenfell branch and support delivery operations across the region.
🔍 Role Overview
As a Driver (3501 – 9000 Kg) at BUCO Brackenfell, you will be responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of goods to customers and other branches. You will ensure vehicles are properly loaded, maintained, and operated in compliance with road safety and company policies.
📋 Key Responsibilities

Deliver building materials and stock to clients, ensuring timely and safe arrival

Inspect vehicles daily and report any faults or required maintenance

Supervise the loading process to ensure goods are securely packed
-
Prevent damage and breakages through careful driving and handling
-
Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments and ensure accurate documentation
-
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and fuel efficiency

Reduce operational costs through responsible driving and route planning
-
Handle delivery notes and secure authorization signatures from clients

Maintain excellent customer service standards on every delivery

Uphold company values, safety practices, and ethical standards
🎓 Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
-
Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence (3501 – 9000 Kg)

2 years of relevant driving experience in a commercial, retail, or hardware environment

Proven understanding of delivery and route planning

Ability to handle goods with care and responsibility

Clean driving and criminal record

Strong knowledge of Cape Town delivery routes, especially in and around Brackenfell

Basic mechanical awareness and ability to conduct vehicle checks
