📋 Role Overview

As a Repairs Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of Adendorff’s technical products. This includes tools and equipment used in DIY, construction, mechanical, and electrical applications.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-delivery inspections and functional testing of machinery

• Performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on:

  • Power tools

  • Petrol and diesel small engines

  • Welding machines

  • Compressors

  • Generators

  • PC Boards (advantageous)

• Requisitioning and managing stock of parts and consumables

• Keeping service areas clean and organized daily

• Troubleshooting technical issues independently and efficiently

• Interacting with customers in a professional manner when needed

✅ Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Senior Certificate (Matric)

• Good communication skills in English

• Ability to read, write, and follow technical instructions

• Mechanically and electrically inclined

Preferred Experience:

• 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance and repair experience

• Practical knowledge of repairing machinery and small engines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated

• Experience in customer communication is a plus
