Purpose of the Job

Impala Bafokeng is looking for a Trackless Foreman to oversee daily engineering maintenance, ensure optimal machine and equipment performance, and achieve production targets while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 / STD 10 (NQF Level 4) (Essential)
  • Trade Certification: Trade Certificate/Certificate of Competence Level 3 (Electrical/Mechanical)
  • Engineering Foreman Certificate with Law and Standards
  • Experience:
    • 2–3 years post-trade experience
    • 3 years supervisory experience
    • 5 years underground Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop operational plans to support trackless fleet objectives
  • Ensure spare parts availability for scheduled and emergency maintenance
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans
  • Supervise compliance with legal and safety requirements
  • Regularly communicate progress and objectives to subordinates
  • Coordinate with other Foremen to prevent operational conflicts
  • Identify operational priorities for optimal section performance
  • Provide employees with required job instructions
  • Establish procedures for abnormal work situations
