Job Description

Adendorff Machinery Mart is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team at the Aeroton branch. This position is ideal for someone passionate about design, eager to learn, and ready to work on both digital and print projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers with creating design elements.
• Design art and copy layouts for various media such as websites and social media.
• Manage design deliverables and deadlines.
• Organize and prepare design resources.
• Actively engage in team discussions, sharing ideas and feedback.
• Implement design revisions based on feedback.
• Seek learning opportunities to stay up-to-date with design trends and software.
• Regularly practice and refine design skills.

Desired Skills & Attributes

• Design Software Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Core Design Principles: Understanding of colour theory, typography, and layout.
• Versatility: Experience across both digital and print media is an advantage.
• Collaboration: Ability to work within teams and embrace feedback.
• Portfolio Development: Building a diverse portfolio showcasing design skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
