Job Description

TWK Agri is seeking a Cashier to join their Trade Division in Cedarville, KwaZulu-Natal. This role involves providing customer service and managing cash transactions, ensuring smooth operations at the checkout.

Key Responsibilities

• Bag, box, wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment.
• Compute and record transactions accurately.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
• Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
• Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical scanners.
• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Stock shelves, mark prices on shelves, and conduct stock takes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer Literate
• Previous cashier experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle money efficiently and accurately.
• Strong customer service skills and good interpersonal abilities.
