Job Description
TWK Agri is seeking a Cashier to join their Trade Division in Cedarville, KwaZulu-Natal. This role involves providing customer service and managing cash transactions, ensuring smooth operations at the checkout.
Key Responsibilities
- Bag, box, wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for shipment.
- Compute and record transactions accurately.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
- Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
- Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical scanners.
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Stock shelves, mark prices on shelves, and conduct stock takes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer Literate
- Previous cashier experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle money efficiently and accurately.
- Strong customer service skills and good interpersonal abilities.
