Job Description

As the Team Leader: PLH, you will be responsible for managing the Personal Lines Hub (PLH) team to achieve departmental objectives, ensuring excellent client service, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will monitor performance, guide and support team members, and ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the PLH team to meet department goals.
• Client Service: Ensure excellent client service and high customer satisfaction.
• Performance Management: Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and support.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Workflow Management: Allocate tasks and manage workflow to maintain operational efficiency.
• Team Communication: Conduct regular team meetings and ensure clear communication of objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for team growth.

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant Degree/Diploma
• Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in the Insurance services industry.
• MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in the MS Office suite.
• Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance policies, processes, and regulations.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
