Job Purpose

Assist the supervisor in leading the team to ensure adherence to all safety and production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

• Oversee tools issued to the team and ensure proper use.
• Supervise, coordinate, and communicate with the team and supervisor.
• Inspect the designated area of responsibility daily.
• Track and understand client needs.
• Ensure the team adheres to punctuality and attendance.
• Uphold discipline within the team.
• Ensure team members are issued and properly wear PPE.
• Ensure the team meets production targets.

Qualifications

• Grade 12

Experience

• 2 years’ previous experience as a general worker.

Skills, Qualities, and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must be responsible and accountable.
• Medically fit.
• Driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage a team.
