Job Purpose
Assist the supervisor in leading the team to ensure adherence to all safety and production procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Planning
- Oversee tools issued to the team and ensure proper use.
- Supervise, coordinate, and communicate with the team and supervisor.
- Inspect the designated area of responsibility daily.
- Track and understand client needs.
- Ensure the team adheres to punctuality and attendance.
- Uphold discipline within the team.
- Ensure team members are issued and properly wear PPE.
- Ensure the team meets production targets.
Qualifications
- Grade 12
Experience
- 2 years’ previous experience as a general worker.
Skills, Qualities, and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be responsible and accountable.
- Medically fit.
- Driver’s license is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage a team.
