Job Overview

The Electoral Commission is offering an exciting internship opportunity in Human Resources. As an HR intern, you will support the administration and coordination of various HR-related projects within the organization. The role will report to the Deputy Managers in HR, and you will be part of a dynamic team working towards enhancing HR processes and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of HR-related functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Help coordinate HR projects and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the management of employee data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR guidelines.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new hires and assist with other HR-related tasks as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to HR managers and teams in their daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • If you have a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
