Job Description

Europcar, a leader in the car rental industry, is seeking an E-Commerce Admin Assistant to join their Sales team in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a dynamic, young, and vibrant individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for customer service.


Position Overview

  • Customer Service Focus:
    • Listen to and identify the needs of customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Process requests, reservations, and reports within prescribed timeframes.
    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions.
  • Business Growth & Support:
    • Promote company habits and optimize business growth.
    • Support the team and assist with sales coordination and customer service administrative duties.
  • E-Commerce & Web Support:
    • Assist with website-related queries and perform website maintenance tasks (updating branch information, promotions, etc.).
    • Test changes made through change requests and ensure updates align with business needs.
    • Provide assistance with B2B user queries and updates.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Data Processing & Reporting:
    • Process data and produce accurate, professional reports using various data sources.
    • Ensure adherence to procedural controls when processing requests and authorizations.
  • Customer & E-Commerce Support:
    • Handle customer inquiries and keep customers informed of delays.
    • Make and administer reservations as per customer requirements.
    • Assist clients with website-related issues and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Administrative Tasks & Coordination:
    • Perform administrative duties efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of customer service.
    • Assist with Business Connect bookings and other sales coordination tasks.
    • Test promotions and marketing tickets, ensuring they are loaded and go live on time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Education:
    • NQF level 4 qualification (Grade 12 or equivalent).
  • Experience:
    • 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer literacy in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Impress.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
