Position Overview

SSK is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Store Salesperson to join its Agriland store in Knysna. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys retail sales, customer engagement, and working in a dynamic agricultural retail environment. The successful applicant will support the branch with sales, stock management, and customer service, while gaining valuable experience and developing strong selling skills.

This role reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned product sections to ensure profitability and effective performance.

  • Support daily administration and inventory management processes.

  • Assist with developing and implementing targeted selling strategies.

  • Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient customer service.

  • Maintain high standards of product presentation and in-store merchandising.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12 Certificate).

  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.

  • Strong general sales orientation.

  • Good planning, negotiation, and organisational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Solid computer literacy skills.
