We are looking for a experience Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join out dynamic team in Cape Town To plan, organize and manage Supply Chain & Procurement for Twizza according to company guidelines and policies whilst focusing on contributing to profitability, quality and continuous improvement. Responsible for the total procurement function to support production requirements as well as the effective control of raw materials.
Supply Chain Co-Ordinator Job description
Key Performance Areas: Supply Chain Co-Ordinator
· Full Procurement Function
· Demand Planning
· Distributor Management
· Ensure solid partnership and end-to-end collaboration with key stakeholders.
Inbound Purchasing including:
· Responsible for the full procurement function including management of supplier relationships, supplier negotiations on pricing and terms and the sourcing of new suppliers.
· Optimisation of raw material and component stock levels to support production and minimize obsolescence.
· Management of a perpetual inventory system with the appropriate controls, stock counts and variance reporting.
· Implementation of MRP system with the objective of optimizing stock levels taking into account supplier lead times and safety stock levels. Supply Chain Co-Ordinator
Planning including:
· Preparation of weekly and monthly master schedules for finished goods based on the sales forecast and current stock levels.
· Preparation of weekly and monthly component level production schedules based on the master schedule and component stock levels. Supply Chain Co-Ordinator
· Monitoring and reporting on the production plan vs actual output.
· Interacts professionally with suppliers on orders, returns and general queries.
People Management:
· Manage raw material teams at all plant (CPT, MDB, QTN)
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12;
- Qualification in Finance and/or Supply Chain
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Buying capacity
- Strong knowledge of applicable commercial legislation
- Strong administrative and numerical skills, including Computer Literacy – MS Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Financial Acumen
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people skill.
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Be able to evaluate complex quotations
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license
