Job Description

To coordinate the allocated territory by calling on targeted customers according to plan and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns in order to achieve sales and marketing objectives.

 

• Achieve sales and marketing objectives
• Ensure all sales agents are achieving customer objectives
• Grow market share of promoted products in the allocated industry
• Maintain an up to date customer database
• Ensure correct ranging according to customer profiles
• Analyse and identify areas in need of additional promotional activity
• Evaluate and measure ROI of all activities
• Ensure optimal product distribution and service levels
• Coordinate new product launches  and increase sales, grow range in-store by identifying sales opportunities,
• Ensure price increases are implemented within set timelines
• Control costs according to allocated budget
• Plan implement and evaluate promotional activities

 

Job Requirements

• Grade 12, preferably coupled with a relevant qualification in sales or marketing
• A minimum of 2  years as a Sales Rep or Agent in the FMCG or Pharmacy industries
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Planning and organising skills
• The ability to show initiative and consistently deliver results
