Please note that this is Fixed Term Contract for a minimum period of six (6) months, with a possibility of extension (extension not guaranteed).

You will be based on the Client’s premises in Stellenbosch.

Overall purpose of the role
The Employee Benefits Coordinator will provide the required administrative support at a large client based in Stellenbosch. This comes from understanding the employee benefit industry and related administration processes.

Main responsibilities
Coordination of meetings
Basic minute taking at meetings
Use appropriate filing (paper filing and electronic) systems and methods for record keeping
Providing information about employer benefits to employees and third parties
Providing information about retirement fund benefits to employees and third parties
General administrative tasks in benefits division
Supporting the administrative process in respect of death claims
Reconciliation of accounts
Loading claims on the administration system
Assist with communication projects

Qualifications and experience
Grade 12
Minimum 3 years’ related Employee Benefits experience.
Knowledge of employee benefits and impact on remuneration and tax
Experience in employee benefit administration or human resources benefits
Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
Excellent computer skills, particularly in excel and word
