KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Specialist Finance Business Reform

  • Business partner with project team & external stakeholders to grasp the practical activities and provide support towards Phase 2. Provide ongoing support (and sometimes lead) investigations on requirements, prepare simple and clear visualisation for communication and adoption to ALL users. Set-up obeya and create documentation from user level up to Steering Committee.
  • Technical deep dive into quick wins from SAP HANA Phase 1 and roll out to all users. Create noddy guide + training for staff.  Document findings into simple and clear presentations towards blueprint for Phase 2.  Lead investigations with “sprint task teams” and prepare simple / clear visualisation to facilitate brainstorming + implementation sessions. Full obeya set-up.
  • Enhance delivery decision support and process excellence through board pack study, consultation with teams, management and benchmarking on how to regularly deliver the “golden thread” i.e. connected & clear storyline.  Storyboard obeya buy-in to accelerate staff + process + system development towards enhancing value add.
  • Assist / Lead on various unstructured activities as FEG navigates towards finance of the future (people + processes + systems).  Pro active research (in & out) TSAM, Create Documentation & Clear Communication to all staff (user level up to Exec)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Specialist Finance Business Reform

  • NQF 6 (360 Credits), Degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance & Technology or equivalent
  • Must have SAP FI/CO IT technical skills qualification.
  • At least 5 to 7 years’ FI/CO project experience in a large manufacturing industry which should ideally include engagement with multiple stakeholders across different disciplines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities
  • Strong visualisation and storytelling capabilities
  • Ability to manage tasks with multiple time spans from 1 month to 5 years and strong ability to respond to and manage changing priorities.
  • Advanced level MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Finance Data Scientist skills will be advantageous.
