Camera Surveillance Officer

ole Purpose:

The purpose of the Camera Surveillance Officer is to monitor CCTV operational processes and all cameras in the control room.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products is essential (word, excel, powerpoint and outlook)

 

Required Experience:

• 2-3 years work related experience in the control room and CCTV Camera operations

 

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV operational processes.
• Monitor all cameras in Control Room
• Monitor and observe staff movement and procedural compliance.
• To ensure the safety and security of people and property within the company areas and other facilities via surveillance of the CCTV network.
• To also monitoring and operating the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV Control Room.
• Investigate incidents via camera footage inclusive of footage backup.
• Incident reporting and recording.
• Start, middle and end of day reporting.
• To be Pro-active in all areas of the business, in particular, safety of the staff and the properties of the company.
• To perform any other ad hoc duties that may be required by management from time to time.
• Ensure all equipment/ cameras in working order.
