The above-mentioned positions exist in SPAD Department within PEPD. Reporting to the SPAD Manager you will fulfil the necessary requirements within the PEPD Division in order to meet the company’s objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Strategic, P&A and Home & Away planning, co-ordination & Project Management.
- Collaboration with related divisions with TSAM for strategic studies and Nemawashi’s
- Implementation of strategy as per agreed Nemawashi.
- Must be able to monitor cost and introduce necessary cost reduction activities.
- Implementation of innovative technologies in support of factory of the future improvements.
- Facilitate decision making at Executive level through strategic plans and initiatives.
- Problem solving, root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation using the TBP approach.
- Risk mitigation Strategy & co-ordination
- Strong cross functional co-ordination.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- NQF 6 (minimum 360 credits) Mechanical / industrial Engineering
- Must have 5 years Project management experience in automotive environment.
- Good working knowledge of production systems essential (ECI’s, SMS & SMS-BR)
- Good technical knowledge of component manufacturing is advantageous.
- High level of computer literacy is needed for this position. (Excel, Word, Auto Cad, Catia)
- Experience with strategic project development and co-ordination
- Must have relevant administrative skills & Project Management skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate communication at all levels in a professional manner.
