As a member of the Loans team, you will be assisting clients with loans they have requested from their accounts. You will be involved in all aspects of loan processing including: processing loan payments to customers, providing loan applications to clients, applying loan payments to accounts, researching and solving any issues that may occur on the loan, and maintaining all aspects of the loan until it is paid in full. You will have the opportunity to communicate directly other internal departments and Financial Advisors to answer questions regarding loan processing.

Maintain high work standards reviewing and processing complex financial documents.
Process all loan requests while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Handle special projects as assigned. Evaluate and resolve high priority situations utilizing research skills and alternative solutions.
Use positive customer relations skills to communicate accurately, in a detailed and professional manner.
Work in a team environment, develop working relationships inside and outside the organization, share information and ideas with team members/management, and strive to achieve continuous improvement and increase efficiency.
Must be able to learn and understand all aspects of loan processing including products and regulations from IRS and group/plan to be able to determine if requests are in good order and able to be completed.
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma and two years of clerical experience. VALIC experience is preferred.
Strong PC skills and the ability to use multiple programs simultaneously.
Demonstrated logical thinking and analytical problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
Proven success in managing and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to change to meet the needs of clients and department.
Flexible schedule that allows for overtime with little notice due to processing standards and workload.
