Enaex Africa is a world-class blasting services company delivering premium solutions to the most important mining regions across Africa. The incumbent will liaise maintenance personnel regarding equipment & spares at mines. Perform Tigg / Argon welding on Stainless steel and mild steel tasks.

Job Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

• Plan and complete a project independently, issued by line manager
• Must have knowledge and ability to perform Tigg/Argon welding on Stainless steel and mild steel.
• Must have knowledge on Stainless steel plate work.
• Must be able to interpret technical drawings and practice accordingly.
• Must be able to do fabrication work.
• Preventative maintenance
• Daily liaison with maintenance personnel regarding equipment & spares at mines.
• Assist in technical investigations
• Work independently
• Delivers quality history keeping on Job cards from tasks completed. (Verification of job cards)
• Identification of defects and reporting to supervisor
• Manage of safety issues
• Order spares required from the stores and for maintenance
• All safety aspects at workplace
• Maintains of explosive plants and trucks in SA and aboard

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

• Grade 12 with Math’s and Science
• Trade Test certificate – Welder – Red ticket
• Three to five years’ experience as a Welder
• Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license (Min code 10), wish code 11 or code EB.
