Position Overview
Empact Group seeks a dedicated and hands-on Facilities Manager to join its Integrated Facilities Management Solutions Division at Mortimer SAV, Amandelbult Mine Town, Limpopo.
The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accommodation and facilities operations, ensuring that all services — from maintenance and housekeeping to client relations — are executed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. This leadership role focuses on service excellence, cost control, safety compliance, and operational optimization in a remote mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Manage and oversee all facility and accommodation services to meet contractual and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, and support services to maintain operational quality and efficiency.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all facility functions.
Financial and Resource Management

Develop, monitor, and control budgets to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.

Manage resource allocation, procurement, and inventory in line with financial objectives.

Prepare financial and operational reports for senior management review.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
People and Performance Management

Lead, coach, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to achieve performance targets.

Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and staff development.

Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Ensure compliance with company policies and labor legislation.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and contract retention.

Conduct regular performance reviews and implement service improvement plans where necessary.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Maintain strict adherence to all HSE, ISO, and statutory regulations.

Minimum Requirements

A relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.

2–5 years of experience in a similar facilities management or hospitality operations role.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Demonstrated success in financial management and budget control.

Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong administrative capability.

Experience working in a remote or mining facilities environment will be advantageous.
