Sales Manager (FASHION / RETAIL EXPERIENCE IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE)

R25 000 CTC per Month

Sales Management




Interacts with the agents and distributors to ensure that timelines, sales and income targets are achieved
Schedules and communicates range launches
Liaises with the Graphic Designer to co-ordinate catalogues for timeous release to customers
Facilitates the opening of new accounts, including credit applications, terms and conditions for suppliers
Interacts with customers with a view to expanding the sales relationship
Identifies ‘key accounts’ and works with product line managers to create product for their particular needs
Compiles and submits monthly sales reports and quarterly performance reports to international brand owners.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages Sales Channels

Actively manages replenishment from sales reporting per customer
Receives emails orders and queries
Manages delivery of stock to fulfil the order.
Confirms stock is in warehouse for delivery
Prepares sales order to reserve stock
Maintain follow up until delivery to customer
Negotiates with online customers regarding stock, pricing, images and descriptions
Assists with the set-up and management of over-border customers

Determines project/assignment requirements by breaking them down into tasks, identifying deadline dates, developing timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion
Uses time effectively and prevents distractions from interfering with work completion
Follow-up

Builds due dates into assignments and task delegations and communicates milestones and expected results
Schedules meetings to review progress and share information; gets feedback on results from those directly involved
Meets formally with the management team on a monthly basis to review the results of scheduled projects and tasks
Taking initiative

Takes appropriate action when confronted with a problem or when made aware of a situation
Implements new ideas or potential solutions without prompting
