About the Role
The Training Administrator plays a critical support role within the training department, ensuring that all training records, materials, and administrative processes are accurately maintained and compliant with aviation regulations.
You will serve as the first point of contact for training-related queries and provide essential administrative support to the Training Manager and broader team.
Key Responsibilities of a Training Administrator
Training Administration & Support
- Act as the first point of contact for training-related queries.
- Assist with coordination of training manuals, printing materials, and stationery.
- Compile trainee folders, packs, and training documentation.
Records & Compliance Management
- Update and maintain training records for all trainees in line with regulatory requirements.
- File and organise training records for easy reference.
- Ensure filing systems are accurate, structured, and user-friendly.
Office Coordination & Communication
- Process correspondence and documentation as required.
- Collect, sort, and distribute mail, messages, and deliveries.
- Compile and distribute meeting minutes and reports.
Logistics & Scheduling Support
- Book venues and meeting rooms for training sessions.
- Assist with ordering and monitoring training stock and stationery levels.
Finance & Claims Administration
- Submit expense and travel claims on behalf of team members.
Minimum Requirements – Training Administrator
Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent — essential
Experience:
- 1–2 years’ administrative experience — essential
- Aviation industry experience — advantageous
Technical Skills:
- MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook proficiency — essential
- Understanding of aviation training legislation — advantageous
