The Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving sales through customer engagement, preparing accurate quotations from building plans, and ensuring efficient delivery services.

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator
Sales & Quotations Management
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations to customers
- Follow up on quotes to convert sales opportunities
- Read and interpret building plans for pricing accuracy
- Manage special orders and ensure timely processing
- Conduct competitor analysis to ensure market competitiveness
- Promote loyalty programmes and customer accounts
Customer Service & Communication
- Manage customer enquiries via phone and in-store interactions
- Ensure all customer complaints are recorded and resolved
- Provide professional and efficient customer service at all times
- Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and response times

Delivery Coordination

- Supervise General Assistants, Sales Advisors, and Forklift Drivers
- Ensure staff attendance, performance, and task completion

- Enforce execution of daily operational duties and procedures
Safety & Security Compliance (OHSA)
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Enforce correct use of PPE and safety procedures
- Monitor store safety practices and report risks
- Maintain awareness of suspicious activities in and around store
Minimum Requirements – Sales Coordinator
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following:
Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience:
- 5 years related experience
OR - 10 years general work experience
Additional Requirements:
- Strong numerical ability
- Plan reading experience (advantageous)
- Computer literate
- Strong organisational and planning skills
