JUNIOR EVENTS ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a junior event manager you will have the opportunity to be one of the front wheels of the operations team of the company. You will be responsible to prepare quotes, assist with administration, plan, and liaise with the operations team. You will oversee specific jobs as well as run events where necessary. On top of that, you will have tasks such as finding new business opportunities and assisting in setting up new processes. The job requires traveling within the Western Cape where the events of the company take place. You will be working in a team with other event managers where sharing information and knowledge are the foundations of the success story of the team.
Making sure the team works at its highest level and satisfying the needs of each customer are the main skills one should possess in order to fulfil the needs for the job.

MAIN TASKS
• Attend to all enquiries ensuring that quotes are done and sent timeously
• Planning and organizing events
• Working on systems and processes on maximizing operational efficiency
• Assist with adhoc administrative requirements
• Finding new business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience
• Must be Microsoft efficient
• Must have own transport
• Must be a SA Citizen
• Must be fully vaccinated

NICE TO HAVE
• Knowledge of Pastel

SALARY: R8000 – R12 000 PER MONTH
