DTP Operator

JOB ADVERTWe are currently recruiting for 2 DTP Operators to join our dynamic Visual Merchandising (VM) team. The focus of these roles are to collaborate with the Visual Mechandising Specialists in order to conceptualise and execute the visual merchandising instruction to stores into print and electronic format. Your outputs will include Ackermans promotional and seasonal (VM ) manuals.

We are looking for a strong design and technical skills who has 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
QUALIFICATIONS- A Diploma in Graphic Designing or a related qualification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge required:

– Project Management principals
– Visual Merchandising principals
– Booklet design and layout
– Print design trends

Skills required:

– Adobe InDesign
– Adobe Photoshop
– Adobe Illustrator
– Sketch up
– 3D rendering
– Microsoft Office
– Project Management
– Planning, organising & time management skills
– Communication skills (written and verbal)
– Highly detail-orientated and accurate
– A strong sense of customer focus
The ability to:
– Problem solve
– Be proactive and use one’s own initiative

Experience:
– A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Graphic Designer / DTP Operator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Seasonal and promotional manuals

• Design unique visual merchandising instructional store manuals according to company strategy
• Responsible for effective process on approval of designs
• Provide user access
