Ensures the integrity of accounting information
by recording, verifying and entering transactions

Prepares and records asset, liability and
expense entries by compiling and analysing account information
o
Maintain and balance accounts by verifying,
allocating, and reconciling
o
Ability to resolve discrepancies timeously
o
Maintain general ledger, prepare trial balances
and journal entries
o
Prepare weekly debtors reports, statements and
supporting schedules
o
Create and manage suppliers’
o
Preparation and settlement of supplier payments
o
Review and reconciliation of supplier accounts,
liaise with suppliers and follow up on outstanding queries
o
Assist in preparation of cash flow overviews and
forecasting
o
Assist in additional finance related functions
when required

Assist in the preparation and review of monthly
VAT reconciliations

Assist in the preparation and review of monthly
management accounts

Ensure proper administration and organisation of
documentation

Assist in preparation of fortnightly payroll

Experience & Qualifications:
o BCom
Accounting degree
o Minimum
3-5 years’ experience
o Good
Microsoft Excel skills
o
Experience with QuickBooks is desired
o
General understanding and knowledge of the
construction industry
o
Experience with Mozambique business operations
beneficial
