Hotel Receptionist
The TMF is a new Hotel that will launch in March 2021 in Sandton , Gauteng.
We are looking for a receptionist – one of the most important roles in our industry. The receptionist is the one person that guests meet as soon as they arrive at the Hotel.
Some of the duties and responsibilities include;
• welcome and greet guests
• answer and direct incoming calls
• inform guests of hotel rates and services
• ensure proper room allocation
• register and check guests in
• confirm relevant guest information
• issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
• provide accurate information about local attractions and services
• liaise with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests
• close guest accounts and check guests out
• process accurate payment of guest accounts
• inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning
Job Requirements:
Skills and Experience
• guest/customer relations experience, preferably in a hospitality environment( 3 to 4 years experience)
• strong working knowledge of relevant computer software including MS Office and booking and payment systems
