RECEIVING CLERK – Pretoria
R6 000,00 – R8 000,00 (PER MONTH)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt • Unload packages from incoming trucks • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control requirements: •+ 2 to 3 years Experience in a hardware environment at least •Skills/Knowledge: Strong organizational skills •Knowledgeable of store policies and procedures •Ability to communicate, relate well, and direct the work of others •Ability to solve problems, work independently, and check accuracy •Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus. •Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business ability to multi-task, all applications must be sent to hr1@carrim.co.za.
