Position Overview
Airlink is seeking a Passenger Handling Agent to join its Ground Operations team at Walvis Bay International Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional handling of passengers and their baggage, ensuring smooth, efficient, and friendly service in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
This position requires a customer-focused, well-organized individual who can operate effectively in a fast-paced airport environment and maintain high standards of communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Provide professional assistance to passengers during check-in, boarding, and arrivals.

Handle passenger baggage and travel documentation in compliance with company procedures.

Manage ticket sales, flight reservations, and rebookings where required.

Offer prompt and courteous responses to passenger inquiries and special service requests.

Ensure all operational activities adhere to safety and security regulations.

Coordinate closely with flight operations, cabin crew, and airport authorities to maintain schedule integrity.

Assist passengers with lost baggage, delays, or disruptions in a professional and empathetic manner.

Maintain Airlink’s customer service excellence standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent – Essential.

Minimum of 1 year of experience within the Airline Industry – Required.

Knowledge of airline reservations systems, ticketing, and check-in procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by airport operations.
