Position Overview
Airlink is looking for a Stores Receiving Sorter to join the Stores & Logistics team at its Johannesburg facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving spares and consumables into the system, ensuring they meet all release certifications, batch requirements, and traceability standards for aircraft use.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in aviation logistics or maintenance stores environments, ensuring seamless flow and accountability of inventory.
Key Responsibilities

Receive aircraft spares and consumables accurately and verify documentation for compliance.

Ensure each item has correct release certification and batch identification for traceability.

Enter received items into the inventory management system promptly and accurately.

Inspect goods for damage, discrepancies, or incorrect labeling and report issues to the Stores Supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving and storage areas.

Support the logistics team in ensuring parts are available for scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.

Adhere to aviation safety and quality standards throughout all receiving and handling activities.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification – Essential.

1–3 years of experience in a related aviation or logistics environment.

Strong understanding of aircraft parts traceability and documentation.

Proficiency in inventory systems and warehouse software.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
