Position Overview
Airlink is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join its Cleaning Department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will perform cleaning and sanitation duties on Airlink’s aircraft and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and maintenance procedures.
This position is ideal for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment that reflects the airline’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform cleaning functions for Airlink’s aircraft and facilities in accordance with approved maintenance and cleaning procedures.

Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to aviation industry standards.

Adhere to safety and hazard management guidelines while performing cleaning duties.

Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.

Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.

Support the cleaning team and maintenance personnel as required.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent N4 qualification – Essential.

Previous experience within a cleaning or aviation environment – Required.

Safety hazard training certification – Preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
