Position Overview

Empact Group is seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-driven Cashier to join the Food Solutions team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all cash-handling and service tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional service at all times.

  • Handle cashier transactions accurately, including cash, card, and electronic payments.

  • Restock beverages and general supplies to maintain full inventory.

  • Assist with general food service duties to ensure smooth operations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with hygiene standards.

  • Support team members to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 – Essential.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a cashier or similar role.

  • Experience in a food service environment preferred.

  • Strong cash-handling skills and numerical accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
