Position Overview
The Cashier at NTK Retail, Tzaneen is responsible for administering and controlling all cash and card transactions, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy in all financial operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are numerate, energetic, and detail-oriented, with a passion for assisting customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:

Grade 12 / NQF 4 certificate.

Numerate and accurate in handling transactions.

Honest, presentable, and reliable.

Energetic and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Advantageous:

Previous retail or cashier experience.

Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
-
Administer Paypoint sales and client transactions.
-
Process receipts from customers, card payments, and back-office allocations.

Perform daily banking of all cheques and cash collected.

Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain accountability for all transactions.

Provide friendly, professional customer service and address customer queries effectively.

Handle conflict resolution and customer complaints where necessary.
