This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.
Role Overview
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving and processing all inbound freight, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company work instructions. This includes managing dealer buyback returns, attending to customer queries, and ensuring all inbound logistics operations comply with DSV standards.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and process all inbound freight accurately and timely, following company work instructions.

Handle dealer buyback returns, including purchase orders, credit notes, and related queries.

Conduct daily SPQRCE meetings and ensure all warehouse processes are monitored.

Process local and air freight within 24 hours and ocean freight within 3 days.

Perform spot checks on inbound operations and follow up on discrepancies.

Prioritize and manage bypass parts processing.

Maintain and update receiving boards, registers, buyback registers, and daily/weekly reports.

Ensure backorders are processed promptly across all freight types.

Record and report discrepancies to management and clients.

Communicate effectively with clients, dealers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric / Grade 12
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations

Minimum 1 year experience in administrative duties
-
At least 6 months’ experience in SAP Warehouse Management System (computer-based)

At least 6 months’ experience in slotting and planning
-
Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication
