PG Building Glass, a division of the PG Group, is seeking a versatile Edgeshop Allrounder to join their team in Cape Town. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment in the Edge Shop processing areas and assisting in the screen line area. Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)
- Experience: At least 1 year in glass processing, including handling and quality control
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D drawings
- Competence in using precision measuring tools
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems of cutting machines
- Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities
- Buffing out cosmetic scratches on glass products
- Assisting in processing areas such as Polishing, Screen Line, Arissing, and Drilling
- Complying with all safety rules and adhering to departmental activities
- Ensuring products are handled and packed correctly to required specifications
- Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the department
- Reporting and recording all breakages and defective glass to the Team Leader
- Ensuring tools are stored safely and maintaining equipment cleanliness
- Reporting any machinery defects promptly
- Understanding and reading job cards/labels
- Adhering to quality standards and maintaining a safe working environment
- Following all work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Operating the crane as required
