Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Hybrid Sales Consultant to join our Durban Central sales team. This is a hybrid role involving in-office and field-based sales responsibilities. You will be responsible for sourcing and closing new sales deals for security solutions including alarm systems, CCTV, armed monitoring agreements, electric fencing, and more. This position demands a driven sales professional who is passionate about technology, customer service, and achieving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, present, and close deals for armed monitoring and response agreements.
- Promote and sell security system upgrades and value-added solutions such as CCTV and electric fencing.
- Engage new business leads through direct interaction with clients, builders, estate agents, and architects.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
- Accurately complete and maintain all sales administration and reporting.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets as determined by business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric or equivalent qualification (essential).
- Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in capital goods or technical products.
- Experience in electronic security systems, including knowledge of IDS, DSC, AJAX or similar systems, is advantageous.
- PSIRA Grade C certification (mandatory).

- Computer literate (MS Office, Email, Internet).

Performance Expectations
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on lead generation and deal closures.
- Ensure a consistent pipeline of new business by leveraging internal leads and networking.
- Timely follow-up with all clients and prospects to maximize conversion rates.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
