Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our Klerksdorp team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail, customer service, and working as part of a supportive team. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of store operations, including stock receiving, cashier activities, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and off-load stock deliveries accurately and efficiently

Perform cashier activities, ensuring excellent customer service at point-of-sale

Merchandise products on shelves, in fridges, and across the store to company standards

Maintain store cleanliness and uphold housekeeping standards

Conduct regular stock counts and reporting where required

Collaborate effectively with team members to meet store objectives

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Provide friendly, professional service to all customers
Qualifications and Experience Required

Grade 12 (Matric) is essential

Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal

Previous retail experience is advantageous but not required

Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic retail environment
