Purpose of the Job: To provide strategic management, direction and leadership to the Road Accident Fund Supply Chain Management (SCM) Strategy and execution thereof in line with business objectives. The incumbent will lead practices that will ensure the implementation of effective supply chain management processes in an ethical manner in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Performance Areas: •Develop and execute an integrated SCM strategy in line with the RAF strategy •Operational effectiveness through efficient leadership •Direct and proactively provide oversight to manage Demand Plans •Direct and proactively provide oversight to manage the SCM Operational Strategies (SCM Functional Value Chain and SCM Committees) •Manage stakeholder relations •Strategic Reporting •Responsible for the SCM budget of RAF.
Qualifications and Experience: •NQF Level 8 (Post-graduate Diploma/Honour’s Degree) qualification in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent •Business qualification will be advantageous, e.g. MBA •Member of the CIPS •At least 12 to 15 years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management of which 7 (seven) years must have been at a Senior Management level.

Conditions: This is a Five (5) year employment contract.
