Role Overview
We are looking for driven, target-oriented, and dynamic individuals to join our Direct Sales team as Funeral Sales Consultants. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing customers with essential funeral cover that offers peace of mind and financial protection during life’s most challenging times.
The position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to existing and potential customers to promote and sell funeral insurance products

Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and offer tailored funeral cover solutions

Follow structured sales scripts to guide customer interactions, ensuring all regulatory and company requirements are met

Present funeral product benefits clearly and confidently, overcoming objections and closing sales effectively

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to existing customers through referrals and needs analysis

Record all customer interactions and relevant data accurately on the CRM system to ensure effective follow-ups and future engagement

Stay up to date with product offerings, internal policies, industry developments, and regulatory changes

Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and performance benchmarks

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements at all times

Maintain professional conduct and excellent customer service in every interaction
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
-
Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
-
Minimum of 2 years’ telephonic sales experience (Essential)

Experience in cold calling and lead generation (Advantageous)

Regulatory Exam 5 (RE5) (Advantageous)
-
120 FAIS Credits (Advantageous)

Must be within your DOFA (Date of First Appointment) regulatory period

Ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people quickly and effectively
