Role Overview
The Marketing Clerk will support the college’s communication and branding initiatives. This includes maintaining a consistent presence across digital platforms, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, and assisting with various administrative duties related to marketing and communications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of social media, branding, and basic marketing practices and be comfortable working in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the college’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and update them regularly.

Collaborate with campuses to ensure uniform representation across all platforms.

Monitor and maintain the college website, ensuring accurate and relevant information.

Collect and archive press clippings from both online and print media and submit summaries to management weekly.

Conduct quarterly surveys targeting different audience groups and compile detailed analytical reports.

Assist in applying survey insights to refine marketing strategies and improve weak areas.

Support the marketing section with administrative tasks to reduce workload and help the team meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 with Computer Applications Technology or NCV Level 4 Certificate in Marketing.

A minimum of 1 year experience in a Marketing and Communication environment is advantageous.
Technical Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of social media management and content creation.

Familiarity with stakeholder engagement practices and brand consistency.

Basic knowledge of event management and website maintenance.

Excellent planning, organisational, and reporting abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Competency in financial management, computer literacy, and problem-solving.
